PROLOG IM MÄRZ und FESTIVAL IM OKTOBER

Im März 2007 kamen Künstler, Wissenschaftler, Radiomacher und wesensverwandte Köpfe in einem informellen Rahmen zusammen, um ihre Zukunftsvisionen vorzustellen und interdisziplinär zu erörtern. Denn in den Radiovisionen geht es nicht nur um die Auseinandersetzung mit Neuen Medien im allgemeinen und Radio im besonderen, sondern auch um die Möglichkeit, politische, ökonomische und gesellschaftliche Tendenzen und Utopien zu diskutieren. So entwarfen die Klimaforscherin Gabriela von Goerne, der Hamburger Sozioniker Thomas Malsch, der Zukunftsforscher und Science-Fiction-Autor Karlheinz Steinmüller, Ingo Rechenberg vom Berliner Institut für Bionik und der New Yorker Medientheoretiker McKenzie Wark in einer Reihe kurzer Vorträge ihre Sicht der näheren und weiteren Zukunft. Darüber hinaus reflektierten Ole Frahm von der Hamburger Radiogruppe Ligna, der franko-kanadische Radio- und Klangkünstler Mario Gauthier, die Freie-Software-Aktivistin Sophie Gosselin (APO33) aus Nantes und die irische Theoretikerin Linda O’Keeffe Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft des Radios. In March 2007 artists, scientists and people involved with different aspects of radio met in an informal framework, in order to present and discuss their visions of the future. This is because the Radiovisionen is not only concentrating on the discussions around new media in general or radio in particular, but also the possibility to discuss political, economic and social tendencies and utopias.
Thus the climatologist Gabriela of Goerne, the Hamburger socionics professor Thomas Malsch, the futurologist and Science Fiction author Karlheinz Steinmüller, Ingo Rechenberg from the Berlin Institute for bionics and the New Yorker media theorist McKenzie Wark outlined their views on the near and far future in a series of lectures.
In addition to this Ole Frahm of the Hamburger radio group Ligna, the Franco-Canadian radio and sound artist Mario Gauthier, the free software activist Sophie Gosselin (APO33) from Nantes and the Irish theorist Linda O'Keeffe reflected on the past, present and future of radio.
